I have been gravitating towards YA contemporary books recently (which doesn't happen too often for me as a reader)- however I really like stories that deal with big and important issues and ones that show the importance of relationships as we get older. This story checks all the boxes, two boys being cheesy and silly together all while they simultaneously grapple with loss and love. Sounds all around excellent!
