Kings of B'more follows two Queer black teen boys, Linus and Harrison, as they navigate Linus' impending move to North Carolina from their home of Baltimore. The premise is somewhat interesting, almost a modern-day Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but the writing was so jumbled that it was difficult to become attached to any character. I found myself mixing up which boy was Linus and which was Harrison and neither character seemed to have a distinct enough personality.

The jacket cover is clever, showing the boys as the writers describes them, but could have illustrated the story's Baltimore roots a little more. Overall, this one is a pass for me.
