I've never read an action/adventure novel before, but man, this completely blew me away. It was written with so much detail, I could envision it all perfectly, and the fear of the unknown in the story became addictive. The story was marvelous and I really fell in love with all of the characters and felt their emotions as deeply as if they were my own. The different perspectives of all the characters really bonded you to them, and you could appreciate their differences and their similarities. I really enjoyed the redemptive arc in the book, and the sweet love that captured the main characters. I also feel that the author sews up the main story line perfectly with all the other little stories within it, to create the perfect landscape and storm for the character development. I thought the cover was lovely, but I really enjoyed this story!
