Based on the cover and the description, I was not expecting to like this novel. Yet it quickly pulled me in, and I would definitely read more. It promises to be an intriguing story! The cover has to go, though. It gives the impression of a dry, tired saga, and it certainly doesn't make me want to read the novel.
