This book seems interesting - a historical history novel set in 1888 Cairo. The prose is definitely well-written, however, I'm not sure if this book is for me. I'm also not sure how I feel about that cover as I feel it doesn't give a good feel for the story; I get it's set in Cairo, and I'm sure the meaning would become clearer the deeper into the story that is read, but I don't get it.
