When I first saw this I was so excited. This is the best cover I’ve ever seen! I LOVE books set in Africa, especially if a lion is involved. But after reading the first look into this, I see we are dealing with a whole different kind of lion. It still sounds intriguing and I wish I had the first book. This author seems so familiar to me. I think I’ve stalked him on Facebook maybe. I also think I’ve tried for one of his books on NetGalley to review before. I’m not usually into books that have such an in-depth writing rich in a historical aspect. Hope I’m explaining what I’m thinking ok. But I think I would love this. It sounds like a great saga that has more than what it seems on the surface. It would make a great series on tv. I’ve always wanted to try this author’s work and I know my hubby would also love it. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky and win! I think my favorite thing about the first look is how the author mixes in some romance. This isn’t something I see a lot of when it’s more an action/adventure written by a man. No offense and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
