After reading the first few pages, I'm really intrigued by Amber - she has the most potential I think and would be easy to root for. She's been sheltered from English society and what she went through has also exposed her to truths others might never be able to grasp or understand. I definitely feel for her character and want to know what ultimately will happen to her.
I'm not sure I feel so strongly about the male protagonist. Penrod's inner dialogue leaves a lot to be desired for a hero in a love story.
Same goes for the cover, although beautiful and very majestic, I'm not sure the cover fits the story or the characters we have briefly been introduced too.
