This book was very fascinating. I loved it. It was told by 2 sisters who were friends of the victim. It really makes you feel like you are in Hollywood and surrounding areas in 1932. It really gave me a feel of the Asian community and how they were treated at that time. They 2 main characters are sisters and they feel the police are not treating their friends murder very seriously so that take matters into their own hands and start investing. The more they delve deeper, the more in danger they become. They are also trying to keep the family business afloat with their father away. They also find themselves in Hollywood meeting celebrities. They really want to see their friend's murder solved and they are coming up with a lot of great theories, but they are taking risks. It is a real page turner. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I can't wait to read more by this author.
