I’ve read a lot of Golden age Hollywood novels, but they’re always about the white starlets. This book is intriguing because it offers that same time period but from another cultures perspective. I am excited to read more and curious to see if the experience was the same or different. I also love a good whodunnit mystery with lovable characters. This book opens right away with characters that I was left wanting to know more about and I love that there are sisters involved given that I have sisters myself. Over all it seems relatable and intriguing enough to warrant adding it to my tbr! I believe I saw this one on Bookstagram recently too and the cover is beautiful and interesting with a title that already leaves you asking questions and wondering how you could possibly kill someone twice and what that will mean for the main characters in the novel.
