This tale of the Chinese sisters has a very promising beginning. I always love a story in a historical setting. The backdrop of old Los Angeles with its undercurrent of Asian racism complements the murder of an Asian actress with ties to the sisters. Add in an eligible doctor and it looks to be a page-turner.
