What I enjoyed most about this first impression is that I found the setting of Chinatown in the 1930s to be extremely unique, as not may books have that landscape. I am also curious to see what happens in this murder mystery, what secrets and clues will be unraveled. I also absolutely adore the cover, it is visually stunning and atmospheric to the whole mystery vibe.
