Interesting and Eye-Catching Cover and Impression

Based on the first impression, I feel like the idea is, what if Anna May Wong was murdered? How would the investigation go? I do enjoy any good classic style mystery, and this twist is an interesting addition so far. I love the cover and the torn photograph image.
