One thing about me: I love a good murder mystery! I also enjoy a good familial relationship in stories, especially sisters, since I am a sister myself, and I enjoyed Gemma's character in particular. I got hooked from the scene where the three sisters stumbled upon Lulu Wong's party, and although I'm not big into historical fiction, I found the setting interesting and I loved how it explored xenophobia and racism Chinese people faced during those times. I can tell I'm definitely going to enjoy reading this book.
