I think Stacey Lee is a PRO at writing historical fiction, and if I'm not mistaken, this will be her first mystery. She always tackles racism against Chinese people in every historical era she writes, and the stories are also always compelling! I've loved her since I read Under a Painted Sky the year it came out :')
