I love it! A perfect historical ya murder mystery!

The relationship between the two sisters felt realistic and relatable. I loved the dialogue and character development. The story gripped me right from the start, first through the dynamics between the sisters and then through the mystery surrounding Lulu's murder. It was interesting to learn about the anti-Asian sentiment in California during that time. It almost felt like watching a movie. I can't wait to read the rest of the story and see what happens! The cover artwork is stunning and fits the story well.
