This was a very enjoyable historical fiction selection. I really enjoyed the relationship the sisters have. The chapters bounce back and forth between Gemma and May. Their personalities are very different. It took a minute for me to become engaged in the first chapter and another to readjust to the different perspective in the next, but once I did the story was very enjoyable. I'm curious to find out what happened and how the story will proceed.
