I always enjoy Stacey Lee's writing, and this book is no exception. From the very first page, her writing introduces the world and makes you feel like you are entering a 1920's film set. The first few chapters introduce the setting and characters--those that like dual POV stories, here you go! Yet, the murder sets off a lot of questions for the story--now I am fully curious: What will happen with the investigation? Who did murder Lulu Wong? And how will this doctor fit into the story?
