Stacey Lee's writing is excellent, and I love the tone she sets for the story right away. Her prose and dialogue is fun, and I enjoyed the way the opening scene introduced us to the setting and the main characters, sisters May and Gemma. The historical setting is well-rendered, and the murder mystery intriguing.
