Queer latina from the Bronx. This book has everything that needs to be said. It's a book I hope so many read, not just the queer community. It's a book I wish so many had when they were younger. During years where the queer community was harder to come by and loneliness was a sole companion in so many lives. The representation in this book was beautiful. The witty characters and pure sarcasm gave me life because that's basically my inner monologue. Juliet is a strong and sassy youth that I wish I had in my own life. Shoot. Maybe I want to be her. Who knows. But this books is absolutely one you need to read. Even if you don't want to, just read it. Take away so much and remember all of it. Daily. Also, I need to carry a book about vaginas so weird people won't talk to me. Or maybe so weird people WILL talk to me and creepers won't. I don't know. I just know I need more books now.
