"Juliet Takes A Breath" by Gabby Rivera is about Juliet, a 19-year old Puerto-Rican gay from the Bronx in 2003 who lives on a block with crackheads, 17-year old prostitutes, etc. Juliet goes to college in Maryland, has a girlfriend, isn't out to her parents, and is way way into this book called Raging Flower: Empowering Your Pussy By Empowering Your Mind.

I would give "Juliet Takes A Breath" by Gabby Rivera a one-star review because, I honestly hated this, nothing was accurate and it sounded like it came out straight from a soap opera. Like "I learned that a trans person was someone who was assigned the wrong gender by a doctor at birth." Doctors don't just up and decided your gender they observe the child at birth then identify. Or Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson the author say their trans but really gay men in drag so like dude be accurate.
