This book is close to home. Reading it made me feel certain emotions. I may have cried a lot while reading this book. We are really following this queer coming of age story. The difficulties it is to be a queer folk. This is a great eye opener for the BIPOC Queer community. The struggles they face daily and the fear they have. Reading this book made me pause and think a lot on my own situation. This is not just any quick read. Patience and understanding must go into this book. I recommend reading this book with an open heart, because it will break you, but heal you at the same time. I truly love this book and can't wait to read more from the author. Overall, this should be a must on everyone's reading list.
