After just coming out to her family Juliet leaves the Bronx behind for weird and sustainable Portland, Oregon in order to figure out her identity as a Puerto Rican lesbian. By interning with the author of her favorite book, Harlowe, a savvy and powerful figure in the conversation and worlds of feminism, women's bodies and health, being lesbian. Juliet believes this is what she needs to get answers in order to understand herself and her place in the world, but identify explorations often prove more complicated and idol figures not the same in real life.

This was a fun read that took you through the ups and downs of coming of age and finding yourself. The connective nature of the complexity of identity invites readers to reflect on themselves. Both funny and moving, this easy read sheds light on relatable and culturally prominent issues that are familiar and relatable. A very great coming of age and identity story.
