This Book Discusses Many Issues of Social InJustices

The author's purpose is pretty clear from the start: write a compelling story that is full of culture and addresses many issues of social injustices. Just in the first few pages the book mentions feminism, sexual orientation, acceptance (or lack thereof), and even food desserts.

I applaud the author's efforts in this case; however, I did not find the story itself very compelling. This book is not for me.
