Sounds unique but I am not sure if it's for me

Juliet Milagros sounds a very unique and strong character: this book should covers lots of important issues such as feminism, LGBT and POC. While I am sure that some readers will identify with this novel, I don't think that "Juliet takes a breath" will resonate with me. The synopsis is quite confusing and doesn't give much.
