I wanted to like this. I'm not queer, but I am Puerto Rican and I felt like I might identify with this character a little, and hell, it sounds like a good story. But barely a page in and I find my eyes rolling uncontrollably. While I find the style of writing fast and fun, the sentiments are over wrought.
