I think this main character is probably entertaining. The writing is witty, and in just a few short chapters, I already want to root for Juliet.

I'm a little puzzled that Juliet is texting in these chapters, though. The beginning of the preface indicates that it's 2003. Texting was around then, but it was barely a "thing," and people paid per message. If people did it, it was in shorthand because we had to press the stupid number keys a million times in order to type. Some plans had character limits, too.
