Thanks for my gifted copy of Judas Horse. I haven’t read the first in this series and knew this was the second - I was hesitant. I do love these types of procedural storylines and after a bit of a slow start (that was a bit confusing also to be honest), I settled in and wound up really enjoying it. I would love to continue with Jacks storyline, so would like to continue the series at some point. I giving it’s 3.5 stars as there is potential for this to be a really great series. It just needs a bit more bite (in my opinion).
The cover is absolutely gorgeous and it’s what drew me to this book in the first place. The synopsis was interesting but a bit misleading also.
Overall I enjoyed this read and would read this author again. I recommend it for those that like to follow detective storylines in procedural series (which I don’t read too often). All opinions are my own.
