This is the second Lynda La Plante book I've read and very much enjoyed. Judas Horse is about a series of thefts in a rural, high end neighborhood. I will say one thing - that the description of the book is very much out of context - everything in the description comes very deep into the story and lasts very briefly - so much so that I barely recall that moment in the book. i found many other things more important to the story. I also find the writing and some scenes a bit cheesy and almost irrelevant to the story - i feel sometimes that so much is trying to be acheived and it falls flat most of the time. that being said i did like the main detective in this book and enjoyed the race to find who was behind the thefts and the undercover aspects and the back and forth between London and this smaller town. It was slightly predictable in who did it but not necessarily why.
