I read the first book in this series with Detective Jack Warr and enjoyed it. I am ready to read more of his adventures and this first look sounds really good with the beginning of two boys finding a body in the lake and the Alley Burglar. You can always count on plenty of thrills in Lynda LaPlante's books.
