I wasn't even interested by the premise/plot of this book. I started reading the excerpt and it's written well, but is incredibly dry. I don't particularly like the this author or their books. I've never been interested in any of them, and this book is no exception. Not a bad book, just not interesting if you have no interest in crime/thrillers.
