I wasn't wowed by this one. I read a lot of mystery/thriller/crime novels so I suppose I can be a little bit picky when it comes to selecting them, but this one just didn't grab my attention. I didn't find the characters particularly compelling and the writing just didn't grip me in the way I like it to. However, it was a fairly short first impression so it's possible that this novel picks up quickly. It just isn't for me.
