Lynda La Plante is an excellent crime writer. If I were sitting in a cafe and her book was on the bookshelf I'd pick it up and stay all day. I like the cover, but maybe include something that alludes to a horse. I would want to read this book because she has a good style of writing and is a writer that you know will entertain you. 4 stars.
