This was a great excerpt that really captured my interest from the start. I loved reading about the intricacies of how they figured out who the burglar was, and hearing about his capture so quickly. There was a lot of action in just the first few pages and I'm already very interested in learning more about how the story continues from here. There is great balance between the case itself, and the personal life of the detective, and I enjoyed reading about both. I really look forward to reading the rest of this book!
