As the book opens, two boys encounter a “horse box” submerges in the water in the Cotswold area of England...as they investigate and dare each other further and further, ultimately, the worst happens and one of the boys falls into the rotting, decomposing contents of the box. The horror of what they see leaves the reader wanting to read more!
