I didn't really know how else to word the title, but I didn't mean for it to sound so flat. Lynda La Plante's books are tried and true. They're always entertaining, and she does have a specific genre she writes in--this is nothing bad or new as most authors do this. From this first impression this seems to be another one she has written well enough.
I do wish BookishFirst would get some more authors in here for diversity. I do like their selections mostly, but reusing the same author instead of getting better books from other well-known authors or newer authors with their debuts in the same genre would be much more preferable.
