This book, as the title suggests, is a reimagining of Little Women where Jo and Laurie end up finding their own little love story. If I am being honest, this is the story that has always lingered as a 'what if' in my mind, despite how much I adore the original Little Women story.

In many ways, this brings the timeless story of Little Women to a modern YA audience in a lighthearted and approachable way. I wasn't expecting to love it, but I just had to give it (and the characters of Jo and Laurie) a chance.

Nothing can ever improve on the original or change my opinion that Louisa May Alcott’s own ending was perfect. However, reading such a beautifully crafted version of how many of us have imagined Little Women *might* have ended was a lovely experience.

This does not replace or cancel out the power of the original by any means. And I personally really enjoyed it ☺️
