I loved the dedication! This book is exactly what I've always wanted since I initially read Little Women and I'm excited for this undertaking, but a bit apprehensive the authors might miss my mark. After reading the first look I'm optimistically awaiting publishing.
It seems the authors have struck the perfect balance between humor and nostalgia. I'm loving the banter between the characters; it seems natural and falls inline with my memories of their relationships.
In terms of timing, this is the perfect place to set a retelling.
