The success of Little Women and having to write their happy endings is what makes this story worth reading. Jo is an independent women and sees herself as a writer first and is upset to be pressured by publishers to add romance for herself and her sisters in a second novel. That life is described as those with struggles and limited resources, and those next door with money, who can fly off to New York, Paris, or anywhere is exactly how life is. But next door is Laurie(Teddy) who shows so much devotion and love to Jo makes this story endearing. The March sisters are each different but they stick together, the writers have captured family ties, hardship, and happiness. I loved this version of the sisters and their views on Love.
