This book is a must read for fans of Little Women. Especially if you are team Jo/Laurie.
This book follows Jo and Laurie’s relationship more closely than the original story. It really pulls you into the center of their relationship and you experience what they are each feeling. The story puts your emotions through the ringer!
Plus, we still get to see Jo and her sisters. And there is a also focus on Meg and Jo’s relationship, which was very enjoyable. There are also some great moments between the sisters that we don’t get in the original story.
I also like this book because it explores Jo’s writing process. We get an up close and personal look at what it was like for her to write her book, and the challenges she faced while writing.
