The world was waiting for a sequel to Louisa May Alcott's brilliant Little Women and this tops it. Jo and Laurie finally get to be the endgame that we all wanted them to be. The story did lose it's flow in some points but came together as a whole during the final chapters. It captures romance and heartbreak while also preserving the memory of friendship. The characters truly came to life as I read each page. It strays a bit from the original but still maintains the character's personalities. It was definitely a slow-burn read and is good for anyone who likes girl-next-door romances or just a wholesome friendship that becomes something more. I recommend this to all if you need a smile and a laugh.
