The way these characters are written gives honor to the Little Women personalities we have loved for decades! Reading this felt like being welcomed back home to Orchard House in the company of old friends. Jo's sharp personality and creative mind come together as we hear some of her inward thoughts during outward conversations in this telling of a different part of the Little Women story. Her family still surrounds her in the supportive and realistic ways we found comfort in during the original story. This story does not attempt to re-make our beloved classic, instead it compliments it with the perfect amount of reminiscing mixed with experiencing the March family in a new context.
