I read Jo & Laurie in one day! I was so anxious to receive my ARC because I loved Little Women and wanted to see what two other authors would do with the March sisters. Jo & Laurie was perfect. PERFECT.
From the beautiful cover - the colors, the font and the dress was perfect. It's so pretty, I'm not sure I will be able to share my copy with anyone.
The story made me laugh, cry, wish I was married, thankful I'm not, etc. I loved the new take on the sisters - especially Jo. I could easily imagine the story as the truth of who the March sisters really were. I don't want to give away spoilers. I will say I loved each character - from independent and stubborn Jo to silly Amy to traditional Meg. I would love to see the authors take it further and expand on each character's story - what happens to each of them now??
