I read Little Women a long time ago when I was a child. Jo was definitely my favorite character, mostly because we share the name Jo. I was super excited to be able to read a copy of Jo & Laurie and revisit this tale. Jo and Laurie were my endgame as a kid and I did not understand why they ended the way they did. Reading from the different perspectives was so heartwarming for me. Pure nostalgia. I felt like I was a kid reading Little Women all over again. The way Jo & Laurie was told is so similar to the way Louisa May Alcott told the story. I was skeptical about this book at first. I mean, can you blame me? Little Women is such a classic! I'm glad I gave it a chance and read it. It was pretty refreshing to read. Now I definitely need to reread Little Women and finally get around to watching the movies (old and new because why not?) Also, the cover is so pretty!
