Jo and Laurie is a revisionist history story of the March sisters. We meet back up with Jo and the other sisters (and Laurie, of course!) after Jo has written the surprisingly successful Little Women. We find that Jo has changed some things in the story, and she is asked by her publisher to write the continuing story.

This writing is quippy and can be a little on the dramatic side. But it blends write into the March sisters that we already know and love. The characters are endearing. Because there have already been some changes to the story we know, we are left wondering what other changes the writers will make as Jo navigates her decision to keep writing. So far, I really like this fun continuation of the narrative and I would enjoy finishing.
