Oh my gosh I love a good retelling and this looks so good it hooked me from the first page. I love little women although it has been a while since I read it and to get a re-imagined sequel of sorts where Jo attempts to write a sequel I love it!! The story starts out with Jo’s publisher pressuring her to write a sequel after her book based on her family became a booming success. Jo who is very strong willed who has always wanted to be a writer suddenly feels all of this pressure. Although she has always wanted it she never could have imagined that Little Women would become a big success and now they want a sequel can she do it? She feels very apprehensive the task feels daunting but she has her family for support. I am so sad because I did forget that Beth had passed away from scarlet fever! I really love Laurie he seems so charismatic and funny I love his dynamic with Jo! I really cannot wait for this!
