What I liked about this was that the author takes time to refresh the reader's memory of the original Little Women. The reader automatically feels for Jo just as they did in the original. I love the character of Jo and her spunk and I will succeed attitude. Jo is such a good literary role model for never giving up, but at the same time, she has flaws to overcome. She is extremely likable and relate-able. The authors do a phenomenal job of staying true to the original while bringing their own unique writing styles to the characters.
