Jo and Laurie is a non-canon sequel to Louisa May Alcott's seminal classic Little Women. It can be a daunting task to essentially rewrite a beloved classic and sometimes it can go horribly wrong (see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), but Margaret Stohl and Melissa de la Cruz's novel comes across as sweet and charming. It doesn't hurt that the book has a very pretty cover.
