Little Women is one of my favorite books, so any re-tellings or references to the story is automatically going to attract me. And the tension between Jo and Laurie, and how that relationship shapes both of their lives is just one of the reasons I love the book so much.
After reading the description of this book, I was a little leery about how it would all turn out. It's important to the story that Jo and Laurie NOT get together. But the promise of some added tension and another view into their relationship was too good to turn down. And being able to spend more time in Orchard House with the March sisters and Marmee is a wonderful treat, especially as I am stuck in my own home for the foreseeable future. I can't wait to read this!
