Little Women was the first classic I read at a young age and I was in love. I couldn't get enough of it and and have replaced my copy many times over. I was always a big Jo fan and Laurie fan. The hopeless romantic in me wanted them to end up together. He loved Jo for who she was and would support her and never ask her to change. She however was fiercely independent and didn't realize she wanted Laurie till it was to late! My hope is that maybe I'll get a bit of my Jo and Laurie happy ending with this book.
I went in a little leary but was hooked right away. The writing is charming, sweet and captures the moments just like in the classic Little Women. I can't wait to see how it all plays out and just being in the world again with Jo, Laurie, Amy, Beth and Meg is a happy place for me!
