The cover for Jo & Laurie is so pretty. I love the covers, and although a historical reimagining isn’t really my vibe, I might at least give this cover a second glance. That being said the first look made it clear this wouldn’t be for me. I think for anyone who is a big Little Women fan, but also felt that they’d love to read an adjacent universe version of the story, will enjoy this read. I obviously don’t know how it will end, but it’d be interesting to see if the authors put Jo & Laurie together or if it still ends without that happening just a different journey to the same end result. Well written and an interesting premise, but also just not one I’ll pick up.
